Corporate Team Building Workshops

Developed by corporate event managers, experts in teambuilding, professional musicians and teachers, The Magic of Music’s unique and highly successful team building workshops are a perfect match for your company’s conference/workshop/event.

What does this involve?

The Magic of Music teambuilding workshops involve a range of activities which are tailored to suit the participants needs or themed to tie in with the purpose of the event. With this in mind, there are a variety of activities included in the workshop in order to bring out the diverse talents in any group of people and this has proven to be a winning combination. Elements include:

  • Flash mob – working as a team, concentrating on the leader for a collective result

  • Tuned Percussion – working in harmony

  • Untuned Percussion – a common rhythm and getting in tune with one another

  • Drumming – the oldest form of non verbal communication and harmony amongst groups of diverse individuals working as one for the better working of the whole community.

As music is universal and inertly natural to everyone, it transcends barriers of age, gender, culture, language, and race. Therefore here are the following proven results of our workshops:

  • A universal move or rhythm leads to people working better together

  • Music as a non verbal communication shows departments how to work together in harmony by working towards a common goal and anticipating the needs of each department and increasing productvity

  • Barriers are broken down amongst staff through doing a common exercise, it’s all inclusive. People are naturally musical

  • Everyone is doing the same thing so the gap between management and staff closes

  • Energy levels from being involved in the music group activitiy leads to greater creativity and performance in the workplace

  • Stress levels are decreased by simply hitting an instrument and being in the natural rhythm. This in turn increases …..Productivity

  • It increases awareness of others because participants positively listen and respond to each other

Individuals feel the power and benefit of a group and can take a leading or supportive role

It also highlights the place of individuality within a group whilst at the same time emphasising the power and significance of a team.

Music/dance is ultimatley based on maths, the whole is greater than the sum of all its individual parts.
